Clockwork Robots were originally repair droids on board the spaceship SS Madame de Pompadour in the 51st century. They are armed with sharp tools in their wrists to aid repairs, and some wear 18th century clothes as a disguise. As the name implies, they are made of clockwork, which allows them to function independently of electrical power sources. Although extremely intelligent, both their ethical programming and their common sense are lacking.
